I'm looking to do a MQTT integration and interested in installing the support via QT for Automation. I tried just adding in my .pro file but I get an unknown module error. When I follow the instructions to install via the online installer, for QT for automation. It's not showing as one of the packages. I'm currently on the open source install, but my understanding in the docs, this is also available via open source. Any suggestions how I might download and install the necessary bits to try this out?

        hi @Jim-Hankins,

if you are open source user, you have to compile QtMQTT yourself. This question comes up regularly here, see e.g.: https://forum.qt.io/topic/90033/qt-mqtt-not-available

        regards

Qt has to stay free or it will die.

@aha_1980 Thank you. Do you happen to know if this add on is licensed separately? I am in the process of getting our organization to fund the commercial license for Qt. So if there is a separate purchase I need for this, I would want to know so I can add to my budget. Thanks!

            Hi,

That's a question better asked to the Qt Company directly.
