      Hi,
      I need to install more kits for Qt and the MaintenanceTool doesn't launch. I found a post from 3 years ago that stated that it was a bug. Is that still the case? If so is there a way to go around?
      Thank you.

        • Which operating system?
        • Which package have you installed (offline / online)?
        • Which Qt version?

        You can try launching the maintenance tool from within Qt Creator nowadays, maybe it will work for you.

        Reinstall... :/

            @gabor53 said in MaintenanceTool doesn't launch:

            How can I launch the MaintenanceTool from Qt?

            Help -> Check for updates.

            It won't work for offline installation.

            offline

            Well that's it then. It is not possible to modify the installation using the offline package. You can only use it to remove Qt. If you want to have the option to add/ remove components freely, you need to install the online installer instead.

            However, the tool should still at least launch, I don't know why it does not do it for you. Try launching it from command line, perhaps it will print some error info.
