Unsolved Offline installer enterprise edition miss add components feature
-
Hello Everyone.
I looked for a way to add some components to an existing installation of Qt enterprise.
The initial installation had been performed through an offline installer.
I tried both with the Maintenance tool and running the original offline installer.None of these gave me the option to add components to the existing installation.
The Maintenance tool gives the error that at least one repositories is needed. I tried to manually add one of them but I was only able to update the components that I had already installed.
I tried also to start the offline installer with the --manage-packages but the app does not start. The unique solution was to completely remove and reinstall all.
Is there any way to add components to an existing installation avoiding to reinstall everything?

You have to use the online installer to have this possibility. Offline installers really are offline :)

Thank you sierdzio!
Unfortunately I am no longer able to download the online installer.
Even if I have a perpetual license (up to Qt 5.10.1) I cannot download the latest online installer, and it is not possible to select previous version like I can do with the other packages.Do you know where I can download previous versions of the online installer for Qt commercial licensee?

@DanieleB Why can't you download the online installer? It is here: https://www.qt.io/download

Just use @jsulm's link, and enter your account details when you first run the installer.
