I am glad to let you know that I started, with my local colleagues of Viking Software, the first Qt meetup in Barcelona.

We are planning to host at least one event per month and the first one will be on Thursday the 5th of July.

All events will include a technical presentation, networking and free drinks. ;-)

To register and to book your seat go to: https://www.meetup.com/Barcelona-Qt-Meetup/

      Hi everyone,

as planned last week we held a first Qt meetup in Barcelona and I wanted to share with you the presentation I gave about unit testing with Qt Test.

We also took few photos of the event, you can find them here.

Not sure if we will have an event in August as many people are on holiday, but we will be back for sure in September, so expect to see more and feel free to join us if you happen to be in Barcelona or live there.

        Thanks Davide.
Just a side note, you probably explained it in your presentation but in the slides you have

// QApplication - full Qt environment
        QTEST_MAIN(TestMinimal)

That's not strictly true, QTEST_MAIN creates a QApplication only if you link the test to the widgets module, it will otherwise create a QGuiApplication if you link to the gui module and create a QCoreApplication if neither of those are linked.

          Q: What's that?
          A: It's blue light.
          Q: What does it do?
          A: It turns blue.

@VRonin yes that's correct. Unfortunately I had to keep things simple in the slides, but I will make sure to mention it next time.
