As I mentioned in title, last year I saw there is a plan for both TableView and TreeView component of QC2 in your guys developer blog.

This year, there is a roadmap for Qt in 2018, you announced the TableView component will be launched in Qt 5.12 which will be released at Dec 2018.

But where is plan for TreeView component of QC2 ? it's hard to say we can build some kind of complex Quick Controls based apps without using TableView and TreeView. especially for the desktop platforms.

I need some further information of them, so please let's me know if you have any news

      Hi,

You should rather bring this question to the interest mailing list. You'll find there QtQuick developers/maintainers. This forum is more user oriented.

If you are feeling adventurous you can try to roll your own implementation of TreeView.
Popular ways are to use nested ListViews, height-offseted single ListViews or manualy placed items.

For example: my implementation uses manually placed nodes on plane controlled by Flickable element. Every node is then connected using QtQuick.Shapes module.
It looks like this: IzTreeView - data is obviously obscured for clarity :]
