Creator: Quickly disable auto-indent?

95 % of the time, I am very happy with my indentation settings. But there are times when it drives me nuts: For example, when I re-format a larger paragraph, and I know that my code misses some brackets, braces and semicolons while I reformat it, the auto-indent does it's best to make my life miserable.
In VS, I can hit "undo" to undo only the auto-indent changes, but things do not seem to work like this in Creator.
Is there an option to quickly disable auto-indent (best of all: a keyboard shortcut), and re-enable it once I am done with my text-shredding pursuits?

I just wanted to write this post, and discovered, I've had the same issue more than 6 years ago :-(

Well, I posted a suggestion for "undo indentation /formatting only" via Qt Support now...
