[Thread locked. Duplicate of https://forum.qt.io/topic/89754/qt-automotive-suite-with-qt-creator-open-source-install-possible --JKSH]

    Hello,

    Background
I would like to increase my experience for software development in my free time, therefore I planned to self study QT with Automotive Suite and the Neptune UI.

First I encountered the Download issue with the Installer, but I followed the link to this site (http://download.qt.io/official_releases/qtcreator/4.6/4.6.0/) and downloaded the Open Source QT Creator, but during the package selection I recognized is impossible to select the QT Automotive Suite.

    Question:
Is my guess correct, that I need the commercial version for the Automotive Suite?

    Best regards
