    Hello,

    I have been using Kubuntu 17.10 for a few days now and my Qt4 programs are starting very slowly now if they contain QPrinter. When I use QPrinter (for example, with the line QPrinter printer;), Kubuntu often takes more than 8 seconds, before the program runs without errors. dmsg does not show anything. Without this line, the program starts immediately as before under Kubuntu 16.04. How can I prevent this delay under Kubuntu 17.10? Thanks in advance for an answer.

    My Qt version:

    $ qmake --version

    QMake version 2.01a

    Using Qt version 4.8.7 in / usr / lib / x86_64-linux-gnu

      @JoGi You can use strace to see where it waits:

      strace your_app
