QML SVG support no longer working in 5.11 beta?

Hi all,
So I was testing my application with the latest Qt 5.11 beta and I'm getting this weird error :
qrc:/main.qml:87:21: QML Image: Error decoding: qrc:/assets/icons/close.svg: Dieser Typ von Bilddaten wird nicht unterst?tzt (English: this kind of image format is not supported)am I missing something? SVG worked in all of the last major releases :)

Change files do not mention dropping SVG support, neither did I see any mention of that on the mailing list.
So it's either a bug, or missing SVG plugin maybe?
