Arranging dock widgets - controlling behavior after re-docking widgets

I have a 5 dock widgets that are docked in mainwindow in specific way, they are 2x2x1, top/botto, top/bottm/full size other ways.
If I drag all the widgets away from window, and then back in it. I can not re-arrange them back in the old layout. They will only allow to be horizontally placed/vertically or stacked in multi tab option. What flag do I need to change to allow widgets to get stacked in different ways ?
