Have you installed Qt using the online installer? If yes, which packages did you install?

In Qt Creator, go to Tools-Options...->Build&Run and see in various tabs if you have:
- some Qt version defined
- some compilers listed
- kits listed
If any of the entries has a yellow or red warning icon, hover over it to read what is wrong with the setup.
