3D - where's the data?
I am finding the 3D stuff hard because I feel I am missing an important aspect. If I can load an STL file into my program how do I then access the data therein? I know I can let the graphics handlers do their thing but what if I want to do something myself such as accessing the uint16 attribute from a binary file? I can't find any examples of this and my head feels blocked because I guess I'm missing something fundamental.
