Is support for colour fonts in the works? (GTK's already there)

Hello. From posts like this and this it seems that GTK supports colour fonts already, but searching for Qt color font support does not provide very encouraging results. I see one post about this in the mailing list, but not much more. Does anyone know if any support for colour fonts is in the pipeline?

What do you need? I do not have problems e.g. with coloured texts in the GUI.

I guess you are referring to emoji "絵文字" and the likes not just standard fonts painted some colour, right?
