    Hello,

In qtcreator in build&run->kit window there is a field for "qt mkspec".
There is also field for cmake, which I do not use.
Yet, everything (build, run, debug) seems to work fine.

Is it really required , and if yes - how is it that I can do the above actions without issues?

    Regards,
    Ran

Hi! You don't need to add anything there. It's just a way to override the default mkspec used by qmake.
