    Hello there,
I just started with Qt and embedded systems recently. I am currently working on a school project (undergrad) where I have to look for possibilities to run the Qt Framework Bare metal on a Cortex M4. Honestly I've lost myself in the QPA (QPlatformScreen, QPlatformIntegration, etc.).
I'm trying to understand how exactly the Framework/QPA is interacting with the OS and/or drivers.

Does anyone have an idea where I should look next?
    Any Ideas are welcome :)

    Thank you
    iRaomSubtrees

      Hi @iRoamSubtrees

Running on an M4 is a pretty tough target, but should be doable.

I think the best place for questions would be the development mailing list:
      http://lists.qt-project.org/mailman/listinfo/development

Or on IRC, channels #qt or #qt-labs
      http://wiki.qt.io/Online_Communities

          AFAIK, it is impossible.

That's what I've heard too. At the moment I'm looking for why that is. Already knees deep in the Source^^
            But no luck yet.

Essentially you are looking at porting Qt to new platform.
              http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qpa.html

I'm completely out of my depth here. In general having POSIX makes your life easy, but apparently it isn't a must if you have time and skills.
