Hi, I am compiling a third party library which gives me the following errors:

undefined reference to symbol '_ZN7QWidget17mouseReleaseEventEP11QMouseEvent'
//usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQtGui.so.4: error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line

I'm using Qt4.8.6 on Ubuntu14.04. Any idea what's the problem and solutions? Thanks in advance.

This clearly indicates that implementation for the mouseRelease is not found. Are you able to compile your program with mouseReleaseEvent re-implemented ? Sometime clean-rebuild will solve the issue. Just a try.
