I noticed that my Qt Creator is appearing this message and it doesn't disappear. (Qt Creatir 4.41 - Qt 5.9.2)

It's random, it just appears and keep appearing and doesn't disappear anymore and start stacking one above the other. For example, right now it has two messages: "Updating Locator Caches" and "Scanning for Tests".

Strange. I'd say report as bug on https://bugreports.qt.io

Qt has to stay free or it will die.

this happens all the time now for me. Is there any way to stop it?
Everytime I start qtcreator after a few minutes it starts the update locator caches. Does nothing, and if I leave it open trying to do something it starts another one and they never clear. It also seems to use a lot of resources as the general operation is very slow.
I'm using Windows and qtcreator 3.5.1
