I did a fresh reinstall of Qt today and it was working fine.
Now I reopened Qt after some time and got this error:
And other bad image message but with Qt5Widgets.dll
Any idea how to fix this problem?
That should not happen. Installation must have gone bad.
I have seen such strange errors on pc with Avast running while installing but
it did say stuff during the install.
Im afraid you must try a re-install.

Same error popped up yesterday and that's why I reinstalled Qt, so can't I just fix it by copy pasting a working .dll?
The problem seems to lie in ExtensionSystem4.dll and Qt5Widgets.dll maybe replacing it will fix it.
It sounds a bit odd.
Yes if you have the dll some place else, you could copy over. might fix
1: completely delete the c:\Qt folder.
2: Run a disk scan on my disk.
3: disable any virus scanner
run the Qt installer again
It sounds like it first works. Then after some reboots or time, it stops working.
Unless you have a faulty disk or something else wrong, it should stay working.
