    I want a child QWidget with a drop shadow that also fades in. I assume to do this I would either need a find a way to combine QDropShadowGraphicsEffect with QOpacityGraphicsEffect, or implement the drop shadow with a png.

    Thoughts? Thanks!

      Looks like from the docs and Qt source code that you have to implement your own graphics effect. I suppose I'll look into doing a combo DropShadow/Opacity effect...unless someone else has already done it.
