Unsolved Error SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_FAILURE when connecting Qt Creator 4.3.1 with IOT Core via devices.
-
I am running rpi 3 with iot core and would like to deploy application built on 5.9.1 however I am not able to configure the device itself as it keeps throwing the ssh error. please help
-
@PiEnthuSiastIOT Can you log in on your device via SSH in a terminal?
-
@jsulm yes i can via putty but is there a way to build and deploy via the creator directly?
-
Just to make sure my dev machine is a windows 10 and target machine is RPi 3 with iot core
-
@PiEnthuSiastIOT Can you show all the errors you get?
-
Connecting to host...
Checking kernel version...
SSH connection failure: SSH Protocol error: Unexpected SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_FAILURE message.Device test failed.
-
Above error is from the options->devices->generic linux device->test
PS: have put in the correct authentication details and ssh port is 22 with ttl for 30s
-
@jsulm kindly assist on the same as the error seems to be quite small may be i am overlooking.. i have even done port forwarding on my router but that did not work as well. Does it mean i can never deploy directly from qt?

@PiEnthuSiastIOT You should check the bug tracker (https://bugreports.qt.io/secure/Dashboard.jspa) if there is nothing then file a new bug with the problem description.
