FAQ answers fixes
-
While reading FAQ answers, I noticed that some of the answers need to be fixed. I suggest using tags, so people with rights to edit the answers can do it easily.
I've just started and I thought about tags such as:
-
"fix_code":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/search/tag/fix_code : answers with code without the code code markups
-
"fix_formatting":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/search/tag/fix_formatting : for problem in text/wiki formatting, e.g. bulleted list

Earlier this week we made an internal feature to monitor comments on FAQs so they can be addressed better.
But having a tag dedicated to this is also a good idea, I'm all for it.
We have also made changes to the import logic that had some issues with line-breaks from time to time ("example":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/faq/answer/how_can_i_align_the_checkboxes_in_a_view, line 73), leading to broken code. A problem with dropping case in a word if it looked like a html tag is also fixed, but not yet live.

"fix_attachment":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/search/tag/fix_attachment : tag for missing attachments ?

Hey chetankjain!
About the tag you suggested, no problem.
Help is always welcome! So, feel free to tag what you've have already commented and other stuff too =)

for faqs that are now fixed, "fixed_comment":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/search/tag/fixed_comment
these comments can be hidden/removed/edited based on the tag later by the automated process?

Not yet, the moderating tools for comments are not in the front end. But we (the admins) shall prune the FAQ's and in time get moderation links in there.

Can we have some indication in the FAQ indicating its for a specific platform and wont work in another. Or notify if there are any dependencies.
