Unsolved QT Lite vs QT Regular for 2d software drawing performance?
-
I have an application which builds a 2D interface entirely through the QWidget canvas, i.e. drawText, drawLine, fillRect.
My target board is software rendering only.
Will I see a software rendering speed increase using the new Qt Lite? i.e. is it worth porting over? I understand that the reduced memory footprint, etc. will have subtle improvements, including to boot time, but I'm presently only interested in the raw 2d rendering speed.

I haven't seen any mention about any changes in the software renderer for QWidget-related components, so I wouldn't expect any changes in graphics speed.

@mvuori Thanks, I'll assume that is the case unless anyone chimes in with another opinion
