<![CDATA[SortFilterProxyModel]]>In my ListView I use SortFilterProxyModel.

Once I do sorting/filtering, all items in my listview are instantiated again. Is it possible to do sorting/filtering without items being instantiated again?

FWIW, try enabling clipping.
