Unsolved Self Populating/Dynamic GUI
-
I am planning/designing and app that will require a dynamic GUI. Over time, I may need to change the content of combo boxes, add/remove buttons, add/remove tab widgets, etc. I thought perhaps I could have an xml file that specifies all the gui information and then load it and create the gui at run time, but that seems like it would be difficult/tedious to do and possibly error prone, Any suggestions on how to approach this? Does Qt have any exisiting functionality for doing this? Thanks

Hi
Qt can already do that.
http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/quiloader.html
So you could generate UI files and load. However, depending on the extend of the dynamic aspect, doing it run time might
be easier. If its sort of a mini designer for end users, the uiloader will best best.
