Unsolved Qt installation
-
I am facing trouble while installing the BALL library for running LigsiteCSC (http://projects.biotec.tu-dresden.de/pocket/download.html).
When i run ./configure i got error:checking for QT headers... (not found!)
No QT header files found! Please specify the path to the QT headers
by passing the option --with-qt-incl=DIR to configure.
You may also set the environment variable QTDIR to the correct
path - configure will recognize this
The QT package can be found under the following URL:
http://www.troll.no/qtAfter seeing this error i tried to instal Qt library but i got error while installing:
@bioinfo-T1500:~$ ./qt-opensource-linux-x64-5.7.0.run
This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "xcb"
in "".Available platform plugins are: eglfs, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, xcb.
Reinstalling the application may fix this problem
Could you please help me fix this problem..
Thanks

Hi and welcome to devnet,
A quick observation: the URL points to the old Trolltech site which means that the package is pretty old since Trolltech was bought by Nokia in 2008 before being acquired by Digia and become again a company now named The Qt Company.
What Linux distribution are you running on your machine ?
