Unsolved Qt online installer for Windows, which platforms are really supported with Qt 5.8 ?
-
Hello,
I have installed Visual Studio 2015 on 32-bit machine. I need to develop applications with Qt Creator for both x86/x64 with Windows SDK 8.1 or 10 and with Qt5.8. Target application should run on desktop Windows 7/8.1/10 on both x86 and x64.When I start Qt online installer I see WinRT x86/x64 under Qt5.8 but under Qt5.7 I see Universal Windows Platform x64 (MSVC2015) / x86 (MSVC2015) and in both Qt versions I see msvc2015 32-bit. I assume that under Qt5.8 should be also Universal Windows Platform but it is not. Is it a bug ? If not, can somebody explain Why is it not there ? I guess that it should contain what I need because UWP is part of new Windows SDK 10.
Currently I build only 32-bit and I use Qt binaries from subdirectory Qt\5.8\msvc2015\bin which (I guess) corresponds to feature "msvc2015-32bit" in installation tree. The result is functional on my 32-bit machine, but in my opinion it should contain also "msvc2015-64bit" or Windows Universal Platform x64 under Qt5.8. Can somebody explain this ?
