QtCreator 4.2.1 with Qt release 5.8 consistently crashes on OSX El Capitan

Hi, I was excited about the new release of Qt 5.8 & installed Qt 5.8. But QtCreator crashes every time I launch. Is there something I can do to prevent this crash ?

I am running Qt Creator on OSX El Capitan 10.11.6.
And my QtCreator version is 4.2.1.

Please help. I am stuck with this crash

Hi,

You should start if from the command line to see if there's any error message there. If nothing then try starting it with all plugins disabled.
