qmediaplayer play video file with variable size

I've a video file which it's size is changing (some data are appending to it from another application) is there anyway to play the file with QMediaPlayer and when reached at end use a custom reading (for example wait for some seconds to data arrive or etc.)?
Is there anyway to do that with Qt MultiMedia library?

Hi and welcome to devnet,
From what you are describing, you should maybe go a level lower and create a custom QFile class that will feed e.g. dummy frames to the QMediaPlayer while waiting for additional data.
