    Hi,

I am a little confused about the status of forum post, sometimes the post was greyed in a fast, sometimes the post was active/hightlighted with [Solved] prefix for relative long time. Any rules of that?

Who has right to mark a post as greyed? the moderator?
Why all the post in the Beta Testing is greyed except the toppest one?

    Thank you.

I think that gray simply means "no new posts since your last visit", but I may be wrong. The [Solved] prefix is the current workaround for the lack of a true "solved" status. See http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTWEBSITE-242

      Because it's sticky.

Thanks for your reply, Peppe. But“no new posts since your last visit” might not right, since I still saw the post status as inactive(grey) status after you added the post.

The forum keeps track of the posts you have seen and if there is no update it colors it gray. Also it colors very old posts gray. No ajax tho, so it only checks on page load. If you browse using a lot of tabs it will not be 100% accurate until you look at a fresh tab.
