Simple clockwise animation

Hello,
I am new to Qt and I would like to do a simple animation.
I have a gray rectangle. When I click on the rectangle (this part is ok), I want to start an animation on the rectangle. The animation would be to gradually change the rectangle color to white. I also would like that this gradual change would be in a "clockwise" fashion (see the following link)
