stderr on Qt Creator output window
HazIdea last edited by A Former User
I am new to the forum, and to Qt in general. I have successfully setup Qt on my Raspberry Pi 3, and was able to develop my first program. Works great.
I am not using a library to access the Rpi GPIO. The library is called pigpio. I debugged everything on the Qt Creator side to be able to call it and use it. But i am not having an inter-operability problem. I narrowed it down to Qt Crator calling the library, to how the library is initialized.
The developer of the library said that that library outputs error codes in detail to stderr and that i should get it to him so he can help. The problem is, i have no idea how. I thought there should be a way to output the stderr to the output of Qt Creator. Then i can cut and paste it for him to review.
Any help how i can do that easily.

This is where the thread got to to identify the inter-operability i am asking for help here on.
