Qt Creator on Mac: disable "Run in Terminal" for C++ project as default preference

While I do know how to disable "Run in Terminal" after the project has been created I'd specifically like to know where in the preferences I can prevent the project to be created to run in terminal – it must be specified somewhere...

I'm not aware of such an option.

You should take a look at the bug report system to see if there's something related and check the Qt Creator mailing list. If nothing comes out, you can open a feature request related to that.
