Mouse event order from Qt 4.8.4 to Qt 5.X
kragnfrol last edited by
I had an app working with QT 4.8.4 and migrated it to Qt 5.5.
I've a bug with my pan tool. I can hold the right mouse button to move stuff inside a widget, and if I release the right mouse button while the mouse is on top of another widget, the pan tool is correctly desactivated with Qt 4.8.4.
It's now broken with Qt 5.5, and It's because I get the mouseLeave event first, and then the mouseRelease, while Qt 4.8.4 sent the mouseRelease event first.
I know I can fix my code, but I would like to know more about it.
Is there any other event which are now sent in a different order ? Is there a way to change that order ? Is that an wanted change and why is it different now ?
I just want to understand these changes to know if there is some other hidden bugs in my app.
Thanks a lot !
You should check both.
