I've recently transitioned from a Macbook Pro to an Ubuntu laptop with a QHD screen and I'm trying to get Qt Creator to be usable on it. The Qt Creator interface looks normal if I use QT_SCALE_FACTOR=2 when launching, but only if I set the "Scale for menu and title bars" option in Ubuntu to 1.0. However at this scale, everything else is unusable as it's too small.

I tried spoofing the OS scaling by setting GDK_DPI_SCALE=0.5 on launching Qt Creator, but it seems to have no effect.

Has anyone had much success with using Qt Creator on a high DPI screen while setting the scale for menus and title bars to something usable?
