    Hi,

I am looking for a API/Library where I can display a 3D Model(CAD Obj file) and let user to select a surface of the 3D part and extract the surface information.

I have come across Assimp library, Ogre, etc,. But I am not sure how far they are helpful for my case.

I may also work with PCL and VTK. but I am little confused what tools should I use for my case and how much extent they are helpful for me.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance...!!!

I have one small question. If I use Open Cascade in my application, can I commercialize my application? Do I need to take any license for it?

@ghkraju It's licensed under LGPL. But I'm sure you can also buy a proprietary licence if you need one.
