I have a project this year, and i have chosen to build a program similar to steamspeak,

I have a many questions :

-It's possible to create this with Qt?(network) ?
-This is a good project ?

Yes, such application (should be) is possible with Qt but often the most work is centered
around the codec for the sounds as to compact it as much as possible.
(Also, the server part of team speak is not easy task to do.) steamspeak ?

So if for a year project, it's a pretty big project for one man. :)

in terms of:
Diverse technologies needed
Contains GUI design and creation
Need to work with algorithms for effective coding.
Have client/server aspects
Lots of networking programming
Distributed programming included also

Maybe you can reuse existing codec to speed it up a bit
