Setup Android in QT
-
Hello,
I have recently started using QT Creator (5.6.1) on Ubuntu (16.04), with the hopes of developing an Android app. I have set the JDK, NDK and SDK locations as shown below.
I am using an OPPO F1 running Android 5.1.1.
I am able to load up Android Studio and am able to see the discovered phone and the output on the console. I am able to write and run a basic hello world app on my phone.
In QT Creator under Options > Build & Run > Kits I only have one kit available. I am unable to get any sort of android kit installed . Below is a screen shot.
Out of frustration I have installed all components in the Android SDK still with no success. I have also downgraded the NDK and SDK with no success.
This same problems follows over to qt for windows.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
That's because you didn't install the Android Qt package. The simplest way of doing this is to use the online installer. With it you can easily choose the versions you want to install as well as upgrade.
