Unsolved How to add a font to the QFontDatabase
-
I realised that there are some default fonts in the QFontDatabase, but how can I add my own?
I just got startet with Qt, so I don't have any experience.I tried creating a fontdir file in QT_PATH/lib/fonts, with my font in it.
clutch clutch.bdf BDF n 50 130 su
The file is called clutch.bdf (obv).
Whenever I run the QFontDatabase, it gives me the same default results.
Do I need to compile it again?
Or how do I get it to work?Btw. I run Qt 4.7.2
Thanks in advance -
@dynam1te said in How to add a font to the QFontDatabase:
QFontDatabase
see this.
Only TrueType and OpenType fonts are supported. -
#include <QFontDatabase>
QFontDatabase::addApplicationFont(":/fonts/OpenSans-Bold.ttf");
Add font in Qt Resource, to build in executable.
