Solved refused access to my Qt MaintainanceTool
-
When I trying to update my Qt Installation, I get every time this message:
No valid license available in your Qt Account for this host platform. Please renew your license(s) from Qt Account.
But I find no entry for selecting a Qt-license.
-
Hi,
Did you do the renewal of your license ?
-
This message provides al link to my Qt Account.
But there is no issue about renewing a license. Neither at the Account settings, nor at somewhere else.So i have no clue where i get an synopsis about my Qt license. I need the GPL-license. I'm sure that I have used the online installer from the Qt-GPL-branch.
-
In that case, you should be able to update by not passing any credentials to the maintenance tool.
-
I uninstalled now the Qt stuff and then I reinstalled all freshly. And again I get prompted to lo into my Qt account. All I can do is uninstalling it again :-(
I have used the online installer from here: [https://www.qt.io/download-open-source/]

Hi
If there is shown email in maintenance tool ,
you need to delete it , or else it wont let you press the "SKIP" button. -
Thanks, mrjj. Deleting the email input field helped.
In my opinion, this behavior should be reworked. At least it needs a hint for that it's being able to skip if email adress is omitted.
