QFormLayout visible spacing when hiding lines

Hi all,
As title says, I'm facing a problem when using QFormLayout.
I want to hide some lines of the layout according to a checkbox state.
It should have been a piece of cake but the spacing of the hidden lines remains as they are hidden, resulting in an ugly UI.

Does anyone know of a solution/workaround for this behaviour?
