I just wanted to share with you this interesting market study I was stumbling over.
(@Juergen: Thanks for sharing the link!)
Interestingly it gives a very fair overview and provides some realistic numbers.
The Qt Ecosystem is shown separate from Symbian. I flown over it and as far as
I grasped it, developers have the following to say about Qt:
- easy to code
- good documentation
- disappointing market share
Would be interesting to hear from others what you think about the numbers.

Thanks for sharing it is very interesting market study. :)
I saw a link to it in Forum Nokia (aka Developer Nokia :) ) a week ago. Honestly I have not read it carefully yet.
Symbian is just a subset of the Qt Ecosystem for mobile devices because Qt is the native framework for MeeGo and it is "also compatible to Android":http://www.google.bg/search?rlz=1C1CHKZ_enBG433BG433&aq=f&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=qt+port+for+android. I believe that by Symbian they are referring the native Symbian C++ framework.
