many Exceptions when debugging 64bit MSVC Application

  • Hey guys,

when I debug a 64bit application with MSVC (2013 or 2015) I get many exceptions in the issue-log.
They do not stop the application but there are around 24 exceptions when I start my application and another 24 when I stop my application.
    Theses exceptions come from kernelBase.

:-1: error: Exception at 0x7ffdf4cc1f28, code: 0xeedfade: , flags=0x1 (execution cannot be continued) (first chance)

    Is this a known bug?

What version of Qt are you using ? Do you have any external dependencies for your application ?

  • Hi, that code 0xeedfade (and its older sibling 0xeedface) are Delphi exception codes, so perhaps you have some Delphi service program running in the background...

  • @hskoglund
You are right! I'm loading a dll that I wrote in Delphi. Thank you!!

-> I googled around and it seams to be a delphi bug - without a solution. As it doesn't influence my application at the moment, I'm gonna ignore it. Tank you guys
