Error on change CSS on Qt Application

I am using CSS to stylize my Qt 4.8 Application and I have theme support on it (each theme is a CSS file). The CSS I use has a image format which is handled by a plugin that I did. Every time the user chooses a new theme, the CSS corresponding is selected and I pass into the plugin the name of new theme. The plugin loads the image differently according to the theme name that is referenced on it. But when the CSS is updated, some images sometimes are not updated. Are there any cache or another thing that might incur into that behavior?
