"Build" menu item disabled (grayed)....?

I created a Qt application with widgets in Windows 7, but the
Build menu item is grayed, so I cannot click it to start building the app.

I did the same app on Qt for Linux, and was able to build and run it.

Strange. Suggestions please.

Check out your target type, is it available in your SDK ?

Which tools do you use?
QtCreator?

In the sidebar on the left, open the projects mode.. check if your project is loaded there.. only then you can build.. you can also build by right click on the project there..
