QTabletEvent not working on Windows 10 with Wacom Bamboo
fdennerlein last edited by fdennerlein
i am running the tablet example on windows 10 and qt5.6 compiled with MinGW. With my Wacom Bamboo, no Tablet Event Handler is called, thus the application doesn't paint anything. I haven't found any ideas or similar problems google.
Hopefully one of you has an idea?
Thanks in advance!
-- UPDATE --
i found a mailing list thread where developers talked about stoping support for wacom in Qt5 (http://lists.qt-project.org/pipermail/development/2012-September/006147.html). If that is true, then QTabletEvent Documentation is wrong in Qt5.6 stating:
"Tablet events are generated from tablet peripherals such as Wacom tablets and various other brands,"
If Wacom is not supported anymore, which pens are supported? Is there any list?

@fdennerlein Hi, and welcome to the Qt forum!
Just tested it with a Wacom Bamboo CTH-470. The tablet example works for me with Qt 5.6 (on Linux).

Ok, tested it on Windows 10, too. Looks like the driver that Windows installs once one plugs in the tablet does only recognize the tablet but not the pen. After I installed the latest driver from Wacom (http://www.wacom.com/en-de/support/product-support/drivers, "Driver 5.3.5-3 for Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista & XP") the example works.
