Missing file arm-linux-androideabi-gdb.exe

  • I am (for the first time) setting up Creator 3.5.1 for Android. I downloaded the SDK and NDK files and ran the SDK manager to make sure everything was up to date. Qt Creator for Android (Windows version) installed properly, but I have an error in configuring a project.

In Options > Build & Run > Qt Versions, it shows the MinGw and Android armv7 versions, but in Kits, there is an error because it can't find the file:
    ./android-ndk-r11b/toolchains/arm-linux-androideabi--4.9/prebuilt/windows-x86_64/bin/arm-linux-androideabi-gdb.exe

I looked, and sure enough, it's not there, but there are a pile of other files (gcc, etc).

What do I need to do to get the file or configure Creator so it is happy?

    Thanks

  • I have the file on my computer. Check again the android-ndk package. You must have this file!

  • Just found out the file was removed in r11, and workarounds are a bit messy.
