Is it possible to make two windows in QT active (enabled) and make rest of the GUI widgets as Disabled

    I have a menu clicking opens a window a window / There are multiple tabs created in a tabwidget using
    createTabWidget(Qt::NoDockWidgetArea);

    WHen I click the menu , only window which is poped up and the one the ta Few menus have to remain active rest everything in GUI has to remain disable . How to do the same . Also how to enable the same when we close the window which was opened on Menu click

      Do you mean call setEnabled(false) on a set of widgets ?

        Yeah but how do I get all the widgets of QMainWindow. The tabs,toolbars, etc

          Just disable the QMainWindow. That should disable everything in it.
