I open the access method to use dbus qdbusadaptor. The method works when i using double argument types, int, qlonglong, qulonglong, QString, uint, bool. But if you make the argument to short, or ushort, qdbusviewer it says "unable to find method ping1 on path / in interface". Why?

Without any details of your application it's pretty much Crystal Ball debugging. Do you have a sample code that shows that behavior ?
