ery big difficulty upon a copy-paste of Straustrup.pdf

I am learning C++ programming langage. I try copy-paste (in blue) the pdf shows. The text is very hard to copy, And very often the text is broken.
May be this is intentional. But where else I can easily copy of the little programs contained in this Straustrup4th.pdf ?

@mrjj Unfortunately your code (3th edition) does not match with my pdf (4th edition). For example, the inch/cm converter, contained in your code, is impossible to find in my pdf.4th. Neverthless your code maybe useful to me.
