Using Qt 5.5.1 on Linux, the QDockWidget object, outside the main form, it disappears if I click on another application. It appear if I click on its main form.
Is there a way to have it always shown?
I don't want that it disappears if I click on another application.

      Hi,

You try with the Qt::WindowStaysOnTopHint hint.

Sorry but does not work ()but is not so important). Maybe to wait Qt 5.6 is better because there is a bug related this component. The 5.6 version should resolve it and then can have a different behaviour.

It's in for 5.6 but from the description it's not related to the position or visibility of QDockWidget. Also bear in mind that it can also be a decision of the window manager to hide all docks related to an application, something worth to check.
